The Catty Shack was started out of a desire for a personal fix. As an owner of NINE (9) beautiful felines, there are no feline exclusive grooming salons in Moore County. To provide my cats with the best grooming experience, I attended the National Cat Grooming Institute (NCGI) in 2022.

During my time at NCGI, I acquired the skills to groom my cats both professionally and safely. That’s when I discovered my passion for cat grooming AND my mission to dispel the myth that cats groom themselves. Cats do not groom themselves.

Coupling my passion for cats, grooming and entrepreneurship I decided to start a feline exclusive grooming salon. Hence, The Catty Shack!

Here at The Catty Shack, I believe that all cats deserve the very best grooming experience. I am excited to offer Moore County felines the opportunity for regular grooming and most importantly, self-care!
